With the awareness that natural resources are limited, we base our production on efficiency and the zero waste principle, minimizing energy, water, and raw material use.

From pulp preparation to the final product, every residue is reprocessed and reintegrated into production. This closed-loop system prevents waste, supports the circular economy, and protects nature.

Our recycled fiber products combine quality with environmental responsibility as we continually strive for a greener future.

Purification

Turkish Paper ,with its environmentally friendly identity, continues to carry its wastewater use practices to the future in all three factories for a better life, and provides sustainable benefits with wastewater recovery and treatment facilities. After the R & D studies and revisions, Turkish Paper has reduced the amount of fresh water consumed in all its production facilities to below industry averages. Normally, 9 to 12 m3 / ton of fresh water is used to produce 1 ton of paper in the paper industry. Especially the Turkish Paper İzmir facility, which is an example for the whole Europe and the world, consumes 1.5 m3 fresh water to produce 1 ton of paper..

Energy Management

In light of the ISO 50001 certification, policies are continuously developed, actions are planned, actions are implemented, results are monitored, progress is reviewed, and policies and objectives are updated as needed. This ensures sustainable energy management.

The most effective way to minimize energy losses and expenses is to use energy efficiently and conserve energy.

Turkish Paper factories generate energy and steam through on-site Power Plants. Natural gas, the cleanest fuel, is used in all facilities, contributing to the prevention of air pollution.
