Baran Özkan

Logistics & Operations Manager

Baran Özkan is the Logistics & Operations Manager at TurkishPaper and is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring the entire flow of goods – from production and warehousing in Turkey to delivery at the customer’s destination port or warehouse. His focus is on reliability, predictable lead times and clean documentation, so that customers receive their shipments exactly as agreed.

He started his career in the logistics department of a manufacturing company, where he handled transport planning, booking of containers and communication with freight forwarders and customs brokers. Over the years, Baran built up solid experience with road, sea and intermodal transport, Incoterms, palletisation standards and export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.). He later took over responsibility for coordinating production schedules with shipping dates, helping to reduce delays and demurrage costs.

At TurkishPaper, Baran oversees daily warehouse operations, transport planning, stock levels and coordination between the sales team, production sites and logistics partners. His goal is simple and traditional: clear processes, no surprises, and shipments that leave on time and arrive in the condition and quantity promised.
